Closed Beta Now Live! http://rh.perfectworld.com

The first thing most people notice about Rusty Hearts is the art style. Well, our goal is to make you feel like you're part of a "living comic." We put a ton of thought into the design of the characters, environments, and story presentation—all of which converge to form an utterly unique game.
Rusty Hearts draws inspiration from a number of popular franchises. In terms of gameplay, the brawler-style action is reminiscent of games like Castle Crashers and Scott Pilgrim, but also influenced by fighting games like Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Rusty Hearts is easy to pick up and play, but to be victorious, you'll need to chain together the best combo moves possible.
When it came to the art style, we looked at popular anime and manga for inspiration. Fans of Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist will find a lot to like here. The stylish heroes in Rusty Hearts have deep back-stories and unique personalities, and their design reflects those qualities. On a purely visual level, the cel-shaded presentation gives the game a very stylized look; it looks fantastic in motion.
Now, the dark, gothic environments might give you flashes of Devil May Cry and Castlevania, but Rusty Hearts has a unique style all its own. When I say "dark," I don't mean muddled and ugly—as you can see, Rusty Hearts is colorful and vibrant, and the constant barrage of spell effects provides plenty of eye candy. I mentioned this before, but the game really looks great in motion.
One thing I want to point out is that Rusty Hearts doesn't take itself too seriously. Goofy costumes like the Octopus, bear suit and praying mantis ensure that you'll never get bored with your hero.
Rusty Hearts has style in spades. But beneath all that is an exciting, fun brawler that we think anyone can enjoy. Still to come is a preview of the group dungeon raid dynamic, as well as the intense boss battles you'll be facing. For all the latest news, players can check out the official Rusty Hearts website.
