  • whats with the hoola kids???

  • @tehpwnxorz Thanks for asking! Among other things, the concert celebrated the 50th anniversary of the hula hoop with a hoop giveaway to all kids in the audience. There were a few songs designated for hula-ing but the kids just kept on going! Check out our videos "Hula Hoop Kids Medley" and "Hula Hoop 70's Medley" for more hula hoop action.

  • W.Band, this sounds great. EXCELLENT job on the solo!!

  • @GCCommunityBand Thank you Granite City!

  • Thanks for your comments! The tune "Harlem Nocturne" is a jazz standard written by Earle Hagen in 1939. Our version was arranged for concert band by Alfred Reed. It was published many years ago, possibly in the 1960's.
