It's really not so much of the "Skyscrapers" but the overall view of the city, particularly in Long Beach because of the beach. Funny thing, I had a few friends come visit me from overseas a few years back (was their first time in Cali) and didn't care too much for LA (said it was too much of a cluster, which it is). But they really liked Long Beach, San Diego and the Ventura County/Santa Barbra areas.

@sKaToNe I know, San Francisco has buildings everywhere in sight, while in L.A, you look behind you and its ghetto. But, L.A is nice.

@MrJuly1990ish Yes but Long Beach and San Jose have NO SKYSCRAPERS!!!! DX

"LA the King and SF the Queen"
Lol!! Personally, I think San Diego skyline by far is much prettier particularly during the summer than both LA & SF. Also, Long Beach & San Jose skylines are really nice too in the summer.

@sp54584 glendale galeria has that and is also in california
Torrance, which is a western suburb city of Los Angeles...is home to one of California's largest shopping malls. It's called the Del Amo mall. It's a very large mall/shopping center which consists of accessory shops, restaurants, music stores, and microshops both indoors and outdoors. It's also one of the fewest malls in the US that has indoor and outdoor shops. This immense shopping mall is situated 10-1 miles south of LAX.

I should ask my Dad to drive us there someday, since I'm not even the age of 16 yet (though my youtube account is.)
I live in Greater LA, way over there in San Diego, and 2 hours away from Downtown LA.
We have an indoor mall.
It is being expanded and building an outdoor.
Its great to have an inside-out mall.
You can choose to go outside when its hot or go inside for fresh air.

There is a really weird-looking building in downtown Los Angeles. It's called the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. It's a 35-story commercial hotel building which consists of a drinking bar, a restaurant, and a revolving observation deck on its 35th floor. Probably one of the most unique constructions I ever saw, especially in Los Angeles. The Bonaventure is the largest hotel in California and is just across the street from the Bank of America Plaza as far as I can remember.

The blue shiny round building.
It appears famous in Los Angeles's skyline due to the beautiful reflection while driving, and the elevators.
Going there at night is the best time ever.
Next time I go Downtown LA, I should tell my dad to park near there. Last time, we parked near Wells Fargo-California Plaza.

The Gas Company Tower is the 4th tallest building in LA. At first I thought it was Southern California's Electrical Corporation, but it's actually a SoCal's Gas and fuel corporation. I also thought the Wells Fargo Center was the 4th tallest. Bank of America and 777 Tower are taller than the Wells Fargo as well, although they look smaller. Wells Fargo Center looks taller thann 777 Tower, Bank of America, and the Gas Company because it's probably built on a higher elevation.

Go look at LA's skyline from Hollywood(Wikipedia)
777 is smaller than BOA. Wells Fargo is in a high elevation- Indeed.
Wells Fargo is quite a beautiful building. Placed in a great spot. I found out that every LA buildings are shiny, and colorful. Even MORE impressive, it is one of the most colorful in US. LA isn't colorful because of junk lights. Look... the glass... and... those signs! About 90% of the LA highrises have colors. Sucks, Wells Fargo isn't visible at night.
LA is a REAL skyline!
