Mondeo st220:

223bhp, 1580kg, 142.4 bhp per tonne, 0-60 tested 6.8, top speed tested 150.

focus st230:

222bhp, 1389kg, 162.4 bhp per tonne, 0-60 tested 6.7, top speed tested 150.

in standard form the focus doesnt really get licked by the mondeo... and this focus has 300bhp... but who am i to argue... if your dad says his mondeo is faster, then im sure it is...

@1995liama Seriously? St220 aint even a turbo so why has he got an intercooler on there? Without being modified it would beat the focus? Sorry but you are misinformed, in standard guises the focus would leave the mondeo, its nearly 200kg lighter. Dont get lost in the whole bigger is always better as it really isnt always the case.

nice but wont stand a chance against it's big brother my dad's mondeo st220 3 litre it's modified a bit though 4 exhaust's intercooler and i do believe it's chipped? even without the mondeo st220 being modified it wil still beat the little brother even if moddified

@ollydude790 Wow. Some people really have no idea. Not fake, or a flamer kit.

The ST300 is a tuning level, it is tuned to 300BHP (at the fly).

The minimum mods for flames are larger air intake, boost hoses, intercooler, 3" dump pipe, engine remap, de-cat pipe and 3" cat-back exhaust.

Then simply rev the car to over 5000rpm for a bit with a hot exhaust and unburnt fuel will be passed through the engine due to these cars running a lot of valve overlap when the throttle is closed. No cat = flames
