You should explain your point. I'm not sure what you're talking about. This is a very good performance of this concerto. I also applaud him for playing it and not the 1st concerto.

That is very interesting to know. I agree, I am certain Liszt would have played the parts that are suppose to be fast at a very impressive tempo.

Agreed: Everyone is absolutely entitled to their own interpretations... It would interest you to know that Liszt was actually famous for keeping a perfect beat throughout an entire performance. (Possibly attributed to his constant metronome practice)... That being said, I prefer recordings that take it a little fast myself. :-)

Liszt himself was known for being an amazing pianist and he wrote music that only he could play, and I am sure he played his fast sections very fast, that was the intention he had when writing it. I hate how people get on here and criticize people for playing too fast, if they CAN then why not? Everyone is entitled to there own interpretation of music, if everyone played it the same it would be boring and pointless!

forse fl0ryan non è invidioso, chi lo sa...sicuramente non ha capito che nell'"economia" del concerto si deve riuscire a fare anche in maniera travolgente la "parte veloce". L'interpretazione poi sta nel "come" farla. Andaloro la fa in maniera, direi, mozzafiato! Non c'è la sterile cura del dettaglio (pardon, non solo quella!), ma soprattutto il senso della forma!

ma non basta essere giovani e suonare al quirinale per raggiungere l'immunità dalle critiche.Fa pensare che il busoni sia stato vinto da Martha Argerich e Demus che con la musica avrebbero forse scherzato in modo più elegante-magari senza lanciare su youtube i filmini del proprio scempio artistico.è anche vero che le interpretazioni stravaganti stupiscono più del lirismo, ma qui alcune sono di una volgarità adolescenziale.non sono un avvocato nè mi piace perdere, per il resto: chapeu l'artiste!
