This model was brought to my attention by niniv209 (thanks for that ;). Looking for the diagram I came across this one:
http://design.origami.free.fr/bestof/naranjo/cubeenigma/CubeEnigma.htm which looks like an enigma cube and arguably is an enigma cube but not The Famous Enigma Cube (by David Mitchell), which is made out of 6 sheets instead of the 12 needed for this fake one. This fake one is however easier to make, but still fake is fake. Anyhow luckily I found some pics of the real modules on Joseph Wu s flickr page, which are just as good as a diagram: http://www.flickr.com/photos/josephwuorigami/sets/72157604925539382/ As with many models Joseph also designed this model not knowing David beat him to it. • Glad you like my design. Just a couple of corrections for you. This is not quite an Enigma Cube. The original design has curved collars ... both in the 12 (hointly designed with Dave Brill)and 2 and 6 part versions (entirely my own).To achieve this you need to leave some creases out! (This makes the assembly much more difficult) Also Joseph Wu did not discover this design independently. He reverse engineered it ... which is a different thing entirely. I like your videos though. Very clear.

  • Wow!!! The Divid Mitchell leaving a comment on my video!! "even more difficult" probably means impossible ... for me at least ; )

  • how sturdy is this kusudama?

  • Very! ; )

  • @TufferThnUThink88 Lots of thanks but, i did it 5 months ago XD

  • @evilscapes28 the fourth creases are mountain folds, all the others, including the center and diagonal folds, are valley folds, but wen making the module 3d, some sections of the creases get reversed, hope that helps:) unless u already figured out or threw it out, seeing your comment came 5 months b4 this reply, haha lol

  • @EuVilGut did u already figure them out? i could possibly help you
