I worked in a tannery. We had Chrome Drums and paddle wheels. We had chrome paste sprayed on the cow hides. But yet, you can get "Chrome Ich" which causes you to break out in sores. There is no cure. Once you get it, you cannot even wear leather shoes. Luckily for me, I never got it. We used tanning bark extract.

Holy Fuck! I would rather be a shoemaker than this.. "swimming in the pool" rather like "swimming in liquid shit" bird droppings? HOLY Fuck I'm surprised his dad isn't dead from the diseases from the bird droppings just one of many that cause cause fatal illnesses

If I lived over there, I would design more sanitary processes for doing this shit... That is ridiculous for real...
