HI i am a professional dj from ireland for 20 years now and 90% of the time i will follow a band, its the done thing over here, and yeah at times it can be hard work, confidence is the key,and i totally agree that entertainers/djs (because thats what we are) are under rated, and often you will find the djs part of the night is the most memorable. goto do some vids myself, looks fun

Alot of times People cant afford both, Do you discount since you will be playing 2/3 of the time? Or discount to share the gig? I've never had the opp to do this clients either go with a band or a DJ.

@BoogiemanUSA It does end up being discounted slightly due to the fact that I'm playing less...but only a little. I still emphasis the direction, planning, special services, etc to try to bring the package price back up to the same level or higher.

Hello Rick. I am please to say you hello.thank you for your help !!! I am a wedding dj from Spain. I bought the k12s because your vid and I am very happy with theirs. I own the hpr 122 too. I need a little more power sound when a I work in any indoor place. I was thinking in a pair hpr 152, or the k12 or hpr 122 with the help of a hpr 181 sub. What do you think? is there so much difference between the ksub and the 181 sub? Thanks and sorry for my english. You can visit my vids on javibodas

@javimontanes All the gear you have is great! I would say there is a definite difference between the sound and the applications of the KSub and HPR181i. I own both and I typically will use KSubs in smaller indoor events, and rely on the 181's for larger and/or outside events. Stay tuned for the KW series that is coming from QSC. The KW181 looks amazing on paper, can't wait to hear it for myself. Thanks for watching.

I am surprised how many couples I meet with do not have a "timeline" sheet completed and someone who executes the directives which are contained on the sheet!( MC or DJ). The event must look totally chaotic with all the gaps and decisions being made on the fly in regards to the flow of activities and traditional events taking place! When I finish a gig the thing I am most proud of is the accomplishment of keeping the event transitioning from one activity to the next seamlessly with no chaos
