The state of the American economy to some is no accident. There have been many key factors that have taken place to bring the American economy to where it is today. According to Donald Goldmacher, co-producer for the documentary Heist, it all started falling apart with a deliberate dismantling of middle-class prosperity, ramped deregulation and jobs being outsourced. Goldmacher joins us and gives us his take on who stole the American dream.

Can the head continue to grow as the rest of the body stays impoverished? Traditionally poorer nations must be allowed to raise their levels of education and standards of living to meet the West or they will continue to work for far less than Western workers. Those that exploit the difference can only do so while there is difference.

You cannot re-build America.
You can have new plans, new projects and initiatives..........BUT.......you cannot change the mentality/attitude of Americans. It's your mentality that CAUSED this deep shit in the first place.
When you have this fantasy that the govt OWES you a living, and you depend on the govt to survive.........it shows how fucked up your population is, and THIS is the mentality that makes even dirt poor people buy NEW houses and eventually CANT PAY.
