Here is a quick play through for Kansas' Song For America on a Fender Jazz Bass. Not my cleanest play through but I hope you enjoy it.
This was recorded directly into ProTools LE8 through IK Mulitmedia's X-Gear/Ampeg SVX plugin. I tried to mix out the original bass as much as possible using several layers of EQ stages, and then leveling mine in slightly louder than I would normally.
Also, I changed the bass line slightly during this play along but will play like the original when my band records it. Please look for that video soon.

Oh yeah...the Beatle pick couldn't hang....it broke right near the end of the song ROFL!!
