How does the donation money actually go into use to stop bigotry and oppression. I don't want to be a stickler but I am unsure of how walking supports the cause. Can you explain how the money goes into practical use?

money raised goes to support the NCCJ, a not-for-profit organization. NCCJ runs Anytown, and one more change agent is better then none!

Also, its a show of solidarity.
