Ike came through Cincinnati, OH as a Category 1 Hurricane. Ohio has apparently not seen weather like this... ever.
It's weird, b/c I went through Katrina. I saw the damage of Andrew. I was there for Hugo. I lived through Ivan.

...

But still, damage is never too much fun.

  • @ZombiezAwwww Fail literally fail down

  • It was downgraded to a tropical depression in Arkansas - it was downgraded to a tropical storm while it was still in Texas. A category 1 hurricane in Ohio? Should have been on the Texas Gulf Coast. You would have really seen what it did. But I guess it's all good. You are acting about as crazy as we did in our ice storm last week. I guess it's all relative where you live. But we did get ice. You did not get a hurricane. You got the remains thereof.

  • @Briankey1960 No it didn't come through as cat 1 strength. It came through as a tropical storm with sustained winds of about 55 miles an hour with gusts up to 85.

  • Hahahaha It was downgraded to a tropical storm in Texas. I live on the Texas coast.

  • Wow i live in Houston, TX and the only thing that happend was the power went out and my backyard fence fail down

  • I stay in cincinnati also... Power was out everywhere, no stores was open at all... tree's and powerlines everywhere... It was crazy...

  • u live in cincinati!?!!?! thats not far from me!! pretty cool!

  • I live near Pittsburgh, and it was pretty bad there as well. At my house our roof leaked really bad, and our basement got flooded with about a foot of water. We have a large line of pine trees on our hill side, that's pretty close to my house. 2 of them actually slid down the hill about a good foot and a half. they are still standing tall...but just a lot closer to the house. lol.

altogether there was about $2000 worth of water damage to my dad's "toys" plus the roof and other things.

  • Love the cute helmet.

  • I live in Michigan, and all we got were REALLY bad rainstorms. It was raining buckets.

I guess I was lucky, huh?
