Eight TriQuint AG303-86G MMIC Gain Block Amplifiers are used in this 20M Bi-Lateral deisgn. The IF is at 9.0 MHz and uses an 8 pole Crystal Filter (Yaesu) and a 5.0 MHz VTO (SA612). The Product Detector / Balanced Modulator uses a Mini-Circuits Lab ADE-1L and the same device is used for the Transmit and Receive Mixer stage. The output is only 750 MW and in part that is still a challenge as more output should be available. More work is required here as the three stages should produce in excess of 2 watts. Driving a small outboard SS amp at the 10 to 15 watt level, I have worked Spain and well as Japan from my QTH near Seattle Washington. I will fully document all of the circuits and these will be available on my website at www.jessystems.com. In part this transceiver builds on the work done earlier this year on my Tri-Band SSB Transceiver and the 40M MMIC CW Transceiver.

On the drawing boards is a MMIC Version of the Tri-Band QRP SSB Transceiver ---- Stay Tuned! De N6QW (ex W6JFR)
