well,I'm currently trying to solve a problem with the "attract to point" part of the system...but i can't seem to make it work properly...it produces a pretty cool effect...but not exactly what i wanted....x-(

You mean the burning effect? Since the GPU generates the triangles (from a tomography volume), we use the OpenGL extension "transform_feedback" to protocol the triangle stream - and then we add their vertices to a GPU "fire" simulation, based on a GPU particle simulation... :-)

i don't quite know openGL:)) I'm currently learning directX...but anyway, you guys got it cool. I got a particle system of my own...i'll probably post a vid soon...i hope:D
