    There's one thing you rarely see in Dire Straits/ Knopfler video's. And that would be people having verbal warfare or throwing insults at each other as if words meant nothing. I believe that speaks VOLUMES about their fans. What you almost always see is people sharing actual opinions and heartfelt feelings. Add in the respect and kindness the folks show each other, and you have a Dire Straits / Knopfler fan. And that is usually a life long fan at that. It's always a pleasure stopping by.

    My dad listened to Dire Straits all the time. I think my first musical memories are Dire Straits. Wouldn't have it any ohter way. Wish they would get back together.
