Today's Mission:
-Bust a freestyle at a live performance

Freestylin at the black cat, during the finale of the Dear New Orleans show as part of the Future Of Music Policy summit.

Also on the stage are Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Damien Kulash (OK Go), Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy), Erin Mckeown, and the New Orleans-based band Bonerama! Erin and I knew each other back in college, and I found out that Damien was actually at Brown the same time as us, too!

Anyway, the night was fun. In case you can't hear me, the lyrics were:

Now, I did plan these out a few minutes in advance, but had no idea what the music would be like. So it's a like a freestyle with slight advance warning.

This is awesome! I went to PorcFest in New Hampshire and got to freestyle to bongos around a bonfire for like 50 people, it was the best.
