  • Wow, I'm impressed that Hitchens stayed so impressively polite even when listening to such astonishing statements. I guess he figured he would allow his opponent to incriminate himself. This is an excellent debate though, mostly because it's civil and neither person overtly demonizes the other.

  • There is no point in asking 'why?' to a person who bases everything on mere belief. Utter waste of time.

  • 1:13 "the ones I believe in are the ones I believe in" WEEEELLL GOOD JOB, what a great justification to believe some miracles and dismiss others!!! He just lost the whole debate right there.

  • Thank you for posting this, Ous114.

  • Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington didn't suspend natural law nor did they do "anything magical" sorry but your analogy is BS.

  • 1:13 intellectual suicide

  • Wilson should put on his red hat

  • lol Hitchens really stumped Willson from this point forward lol beforehand Wilson was acting like a really logical guy * rare for a christian* but once Hitchens put him under the buner her burned up... Hence in my oppinion Hitchens has won this debate *I know I know, no winners =P*

  • at 1:15 Mr. Wilsons responds: the ones I believe in are the ones I believe in. hehehe

  • If eye witness testimony were really that reliable we wouldn't need the Innocense Project would we?

  • Wilson's logic: I wasn't present when George Washington CROSSED OVER A RIVER, but I believe the historical account nonetheless. In the same way, I accept that Jesus rose from the dead. If the historical claim was that George Washington levitated off the ground and floated, with his army, across the river, then that would be a valid point to make. As it stands, it's a complete non sequitur.
