This is a quick tutorial I made on how to bunny hop on quake 3. Please enjoy, this is for noobs, and if your a pro, or you can already bunny hop. You really have nothing to gain here. Just for peoples information, i am A LOT better at strafe jumping then i show in the video, i made the video to HELP people not to show my skills. Also i dont play quake 3 that much anymore. I do not own this game, or the song that is heard in this video. The only thing I own is the making of the video itself, however I do not own the game recorder used to capture footage.

@Anonymousniper12 There is a free and open source clone of quake 3 arena called Open Arena. That's what I have on my machine. It's based on the quake 3 source code ID released. So it will work with quake 3 maps. Although some maps don't work 100% with OA. There is a map pack with maps that work well with OA. Just google Open Arena and you can find everything.
Open Arena works well enough that I wouldn't bother paying for quake 3

You need to mention that after each jump the angle in which you aim your mouse left or right when strafing that direction, increases. On the 7th or so jump you are aiming pretty far left and right to ensure gaining momentum by the 45 degree angle.
