I gotta say, this mod makes a pretty huge difference. I've used a stock 002 and now have the BLA 002. This deathrape dude can say whatever he likes and offer as many free soloutions as he wants, but at the end of the day - BLA turn a hobbyists piece of kit into something that gets great polished sounds a great deal easier than a stock 002. For someone wanting to get a Pro Tools interface with HD sound without the HD pricetag, BLA are doing great stuff...

I apologize to anyone who has had to suffer through this "debate". My intent was to come to the defence of a small company that is doing something unique and all together helpful for the recording community. I hope I composed myself respectfully, but the whole thing turned rather childish.

How about U tell us how we need 2 buy every color of paint @ the art shop, instead of red, green, blue, white, & black =)) Kind of like we must edit our video in 32 bit color when making a DVD (they're all 24 bit).
