  • Nuostabu.It is nice....Reda from Lithuania.

  • Hello dialecical44. When you wind the warp with yarn from one package, the entire warp is one continuous thread. After you have beamed it, and just before you thread, you cut the looped ends to give individual threads so you can thread. If you change colour in the warp, you can either knot the new colour onto the old colour (and cut off the old colour), or you can leave the old colour ready to bring in again when you want it. Hope that helps.

  • is the warp one continuous pieace?

  • @KaylieMarieJay Hi Kaylie, I'm hoping to post some more videos soon, but at the moment am busy weaving and teaching! The patterns are created by changing the threading order of the yarns, and then changing the order in which you lift the shafts. Then, as you weave, you can see different patterns emerging, depending on the two elements. Once you have threaded the loom, it stays that way until you put on a new warp, but you can change the patterns by changing the order of lifting the shafts.

  • @loveleopardprint LOL If you love doing something, you have all the patience in the world!! I enjoy all the processes involved because you get immersed in each one and it is almost like meditation - you have to stay focussed on the job in hand and you forget everything else! Even time passing! It's very therapeutic!

  • you have the patience of a saint!

  • I am very interested I am now studying Textile Design I was wondering show more video how to do patterns with the loom thank you I enjoyed your video :)
