@nadeau1064 1983 season underway, and very close for the season to end...
-
@nadeau1064 I'm new to this series, in fact I just register, can you inform me how to enter for the '83 season?
-
I just noticed the "Lastcar" logo at the end, with the #66 car. I think I get it, because that car always finishes last (start and parking).

Awesome job, Brock! Hate that I had to wait to the very end with that dang 3rd DNQ but I liked the extra touch, AND you pronounced my hometown correctly...something most people don't do! :)

Awesome...love the music...very good for the era...you rock

I'm kinda partial to the Daytona 500 intros, since we have the music they used for most of the years.

@NrdsWthGns #70-Baptistbravesfan won the season championship the week before at Atlanta; #87-Mobil1fan won this Riverside race over #88-pippy.

but the 1983 HSCRS isn't posted yet, so I had to like wait. And by the way is choosing the car number possible?
sharpbleydz500 1 year ago
@sharpbelydz500 Yeah, it's not posted at the forums yet, but the person in charge of the series told me sign-ups will be coming in the next few weeks.
Selecting a car number is based on one's rankings in the 1982 standings, so I'm afraid new entrants can only pick from the cars that remain. There were a ton of teams in 1983, though, so you should still have good ones to select from.

Great job and great grid. ¿This track is very similar of the Sonoma track?
nascarvan 1 year ago
There are some similarities, nascarvan, but Riverside was a much faster road course with longer straightaways and a ton more runoff in the Esses. "The Chute" that is used in place of the carousel at Sonoma is also inspired by Riverside.
A really fun track, for sure; it's a crying shame that it no longer exists.
