A Lego engine I made using Lego Technic pneumatic components. This is the first pneumatic engine I managed to get working.

  • Haha this thing is awesome how much do they cost? Does Lego still make them? =)

  • Built it based on some instructions I found on the internet.

  • That's the smoothest running 1 cylinder LPE in the world!

  • Well, the high gear ratio to the heavy fly wheel smooths out things a great deal!

  • where did you but the compressor?

  • Its just connected to a line which goes to a T connector connected to the engine and the 2L drinks bottle. By using a 2L drinks bottle, I can control how much pressure the engine runs on, and also change the size of the bottle with a larger or smaller one depending on how long I require the engine to run for.
