@PeggyTeachesChinese I haven't heard it being called that, but I guess. The one you speak in Fujian, mainly in Fuzhou and that area ^_^

@dabolashearthlink : Bu yong xie. Ni hao xiao Peggy. I work in Xiamen, we have many Chinese and English corners near Xiamen University. I have been in Hong Kong many many days this year. I enter PRC through HK and renew my Visa in HK. We also have a new factory in Zhongshan so I travel from HK to ZS by Ferry. I stay on the Island when I am in HK. So now I am learning to speak both Mandarin & Cantonese! bye bye :-)

It's one of the best books I've read. Overwhelming! If you like sad but beautiful stories not necesarily with happy endings, try to read something by Knut Hamsun. Good work by the way ;-)
