It is common knowledge that Viktor Blom is the legendary online player known as Isildur1. He just turned 20, but has already played twice at the WSOPE and in several EPT tournaments. Although very friendly with the other poker players at his table, happy to joke and chat, so far he has absolutely refused to talk to any poker media.

In this video we see him get knocked out of the WSOPE in 16th place for £33k when his pocket 8s are outdrawn by KQ. After he walks away from the feature table, the WSOPE staff try to grab him for the obligatory interview since they're filming his table for ESPN.

Blom refuses, but the production crew keep on at him, telling him he can hear the questions first. Blom insists again that he won't do it. Finally, realizing it's pointless to keep talking with them, he just walks off into the casino.

Now check out the epic Isildur1 thread on the Gutshot Poker Forum with hand histories from all his classic matches v. Durrr, Phil Ivey, Patrick Antonius etc: http://www.gutshot.com/forum/showthread.php/21646-Sickest-online-player-of-al...

  • I have to admit that it's super funny to watch (rad) all you little girls arguing over poker/poker players... LMAO!

  • @Wazzamazizzi No it isn't true. Dwan is on a huge downswing right now but is still up over 5 million in lifelong online winnings. Source = pokertableratings

  • @shane31lv Is this true about Dwan and do you have source on this?

  • @shane31lv they've both won a LOT more than that. And in the end luck evens out, when you've put in as many hands as these guys, luck is never the deciding factor.

  • @thettruest well done genius , i think that was my point when i said about he doesnt want to be asked about the isildur1 usename . you can troll someone else now .

  • @shane31lv fail, neither is only up 500k lifetime. Downswings dont bring u back to 0.

  • @harrington78 uhh, no. he was stayin anonymous to keep away from the government and their strict poker/gamblin 'tax' laws...
