Grazing Alfalfa - Part 2/2

Alfalfa is the most important forage legume grown in the United States. In fact, it is grown to some extent in all countries throughout the world. Historically, alfalfa has been used dominantly as a premier hay plant. However, it's use as a grazing crop is gaining momentum with more farmers, who are seeding the "queen of forages" for the purpose of grazing. This short movie (broken into two parts) examines the advantages and precautions associated with grazing alfalfa, including research results and farmer testimonials.
