I went out and played in the waves during Hurricane Dean. Technically, the hurricane missed Aruba, but the waves it created damaged the island.

Nice job on the vid man..i'm aruban myself and I know how fucked up it is for tourist to go all the way there becuase its the safest island  the hurricane belt and have to experience their vacation in that! but just wanted to say nice job!

im on my way to aruba in july.. ive timeshare there. because they safe that is safest island outside of the hurricane belt.... thanks for posting the video.. glad you're alive to tell....

i was there, so i know what happened. i was with my family and at night it was raining like hell. next morning we went to the beach... the water from the ocean was close to the pools which were about 30ft away from the shore before the hurricane. seaweed was everywhere. when the water level rose and large waves came, i went in with some other people and got scratched like hell from all the shells. guess our vacation was ruined.
