Ericsson originally focused on producing mobile content, but quickly realized the organization and distribution of that content was also critical. Soon after, the company found they could provide their sales and repair employees with just-in-time training in the field. Employees have a specific portal in place, which acts as a front-end on the learning management system. From there, they have the capability to download the specific nuggets of information.
The company is current working to provide content according to an individual's geolocation. This has the potential to (1) help a person find their way around a college on their first day or (2) give a museum visitor more detailed information about an exhibit.
