What programs do you use for particle effects?

@canucmesucker I used After Effects for everything. The fire from hands effect is stock footage from action essentials 2 animated across with motion blur very quickly. For lightning from hand effect, I used the lightning effect from the effects and presets section in After Effects, and just tracked the starting point to his hand and the ending point to somewhere off screen. Do you know what I like about you?  Garageband has 'horns' that you can play on the keys, but you are playing real brass instruments.
