I find it interesting that even though it was "Rodney King" picked as the lead clip, all the others males shown were white males, who just the opposite, pushed the rule of arrogance against authorities too far... and as a result, rightfully got checked in all the wrong ways - and "that" somehow is a comparison to Kings speech or incident - now THAT is a sense of irony, if not disingenuous in itself...lol. But ok.... sure, I'll buy that for a dollar - why not.

You have peace officers and you have cops. Cops are little more than thugs who have found a place to violently vent their frustration with the world. It's up to the Chief of Police to make sure these thugs are not allowed in the department. The riots of 1992 fall squarely on Darrell Gates' old school shoulders. Police officers don't have to be sunday school teachers, they just have to be trained psychologically to handle situations with respect for the people.
