I finally managed to get an iRex iLiad from distributor. After less than 6 months, it began to fail. It will jump 15 to 20 pages at a time, no longer connect to my PC, and the battery life is down to 5 hours from 15 hours.
iRex is stonewalling me about the repairs and ignores my repeated questions. Never buy anything from iRex.

I agree with RolandDeschain1. Especially because the video lacks resolution, so the text is unreadable.

I purchased an Iliad Book Edition from iRex in August of 2008. Due to problems with the delivery company, DHL, I never received the product.
iRex promised me a refund, but has not done so. At this point, I have neither my money nor the Iliad. iRex is totally ignoring me and does not even reply to emails. My only recourse now is legal action.
If you are thinking about purchasing from iRex, you should know that this company no regard for customers after they have your money.

Thanks for the close-up on this. But it's okay to talk. I'm sure a lot of people want to HEAR someone's thoughts on this device as well as look at it.
