im working on my first album, and im thinking of doing a punk rock cover of this song. im the guitar player in the band, any tips?

@paulyxx672 I would keep the guitar choppy so it's not just one long fuzzy overdrive sound. maybe have a definitive heavy bass rift during the verses and bring the guitars in with the chorus. Also, try not to speed the song up too much. Make it punk but not caffeinated punk. take some influence from southern California and keep it sunny.

@ireallyloveericlyons I do tend to get long-winded at times, but the YouCAP videos were made with the intent of getting videos about the artist of the month and any type of video is acceptable. I know it looks weird from an outsider perspective, but I was trying to get vloggers and random people involved and trying to show them that they didn't have to play in order to make a YouCAP vid. Also, LOL
