Quilting in the Dark
Thursday June 24th, at 7:00 pm
Quilting in the Dark is a one man show. Dustin Farrell, an up and coming long arm quilt artist has developed his own style of free motion long arm quilting. He has aligned himself with Nolting Manufacturing and YLI Threads to develop this one of a kind performance. The stage is set, the quilt is loaded, the music is on, and the lights are out as Dustin starts laying the ground work for this awesome show. He will quilt for one to two hours under black lights demonstrating his phenomenal freehand quilting abilities. While running his Nolting 24" pro and using Superiors Brights line of threads that are black light activated, be mesmerized as the threads dance across a quilt pallet. You will be amazed at the artistry this young man displays in this magnificent show. During the show you can expect to see numerous thread changes and various quilting techniques. There will be many pieces on display for your viewing pleasure during the show. Dustin will be available after the show for questions and answers. He will also be giving away the quilted piece done during the show to a lucky audience member.
Admission Fee $25.00* per person for the presentation
