Have you tried using the Super Tech oil filters sold at Wal-Mart? You should purchase the SuperTech ST6607 or the slightly longer ST7317 for your Yamaha YZF-R1 sportbike. They are made by champion and cost less than $3.

@leyonski yamaha's always got problem with 2nd gear. i tried to chose between fireblade and r1, took r1 anyway. the best bike :)

i had a 2000 r1. i miss it so much. had to sell it on ebay cause i fucked up the trans from doing so many 2nd gear wheelies. the repair costed so much at the time that i had no choice. i wasn't making much money at the time but that was my only choice. i wish i only held off a little bit. damn i miss that bike!!!!! what a beast!!!!!!
