Continuing on with the Castlevania trend, here's a popular tune from the black sheep of the NES Castlevania trilogy, Simon's Quest. As noted in the title, this is the theme that plays when you're in town either buying stuff or putting up with the townspeople's useless advice.
On a side note, is it appropriate to call Simon's Quest the "black sheep" of the series? Sure, it's a good game with some serious flaws (thank you, AVGN...), but it didn't get NEARLY as much recognition as Castlevania or Castlevania III. It's all comes down to a matter of opinion, I guess.
Anyways, this is one of the two songs that I've uploaded that doesn't have dickspeed. Er, excuse me, "semi dickspeed". Why? It's more of a calm tune compared to the upbeat tunes of Mad Forest and Heart of Fire, so it didn't really need it. Besides, the real reason why I crank the tempo at all is to use fills for the percussion and to accompany the melody with some sustaining notes.
...If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, don't worry.
Enjoy the video, one more to go!
@ChristeriousNinja Hmm...That could've been the case.

@Disembow1280 Nah, they're the best free alternatives as far as I know. But are you recording with a microphone? If you go into Recording Devices (which you'll find in sound options or if you search it on control panel), then right click and show disabled devices, some laptops have stereo mix. If you enable it, the option to 'record from microphone' in camstudio will record from your speakers instead. If you don't have it there's not much else you can do other than ask someone to record for you.

@ChristeriousNinja Hey, thanks dude. All the melodies/harmonies come from sheet music. The only thing I do by ear is the percussion: I've played percussion for nine years, so that comes easy. And it fits, too. ^_^
Oh, and I am aware of the sound quality. The speakers of my laptop aren't the best, and I'm really starting to see Camstudio/Windows Movie Maker as a liability. You wouldn't happen to know any alternatives by chance, would you?
Thanks again.

Wow, this is great =D Especially since it's quite hard to make something sound good with Real without it kinda being a mess at times in terms of instrumentation. Only down side is the sound quality, I'm wondering if you know about stereo mix which enables you to record from your computer or if your computer doesn't have it. Either way, nice job =).
Like.

@TheExarion Oh really? Never used it before.

Hey, remember to use the "Arranger" tab to connect "pieces" of your songs if one part is too long. It's a life saver than just editting everything ;)
