More footage of this year's 'The Cambrian' hauled by ex-LMS Black 5 4-6-0 no.44871. In this video we at Morfa Mawddach, formely know as Barmouth Junction where the Ruabon to Barmouth line once came together with the Cambrian Coast line. Being close the sea it is fairly choppy around there so the wind was quite high at times. We start with a train on the Fairbourne line seen in the distance leaving Barmouth Ferry Station. We then see a local 158 DMU service to Pwhelli crossing over the famous Barmouth Bridge into Barmouth itself. Afterwards we see 44871 hauling 'The Cambrian' over the bridge and past us at Morfa Mawddach. She can still be see in the distance climbing Friog bank and passing under the avalanche shelter.
Filmed on a Panasonic HS60 HD Camcorder
