I have a dunlop hendrix wah, and an MXR carbon copy delay, and I borrowed my friend's Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive, but I'm having problems with where to place the delay seeing as the drive seems to affect it in either position, either making the delay louder and distorted (delay placed before drive) or changing the wah it generally sounds with delay placed after drive, causing the input to be much higher...any ideas?

mitch from modern family????/

So the guitar goes into the tuner and the last effect to the amp input?? Thanks

great video, thanks

Great... but I still prefer playing in front of the chain instead of behind it.

I like Tuner>Distortion>Wah

Where would EQ and Octaver pedals go in this chain? Right now I have my tuner going into my Danelectros Fish 'n' Chips EQ, then my Crybaby Wah, Danelectro FAB Distortion, Boss OC-3 Super Octave, and finally Danelectro FAB Echo. Is this a good setup or would you recommend something else?
would it be ok if i put a tuner after a wah?

@poison806: If that's where you want to place it, that should be fine.

Great, but where do you think i should put fuzz pedals? Before or after the distortion?
For example, my pedals are, boss tuner, MXR Blue Box (Octave Fuzz) , Big Muff, Boss Turbo Distortion and Boss Chorus Ensemble...What would you suggest the order should be? Or would you have it the order i mentioned them?
Thanks :)

@red3chilli - You may actually want to try your fuzzes before all your other pedals. You Boss TU-2 (tuner) has a buffer in it, and it is commonly preferred to not have a buffer before your fuzz. Fuzzes behave differently with buffers before them, so see what difference that makes. Also, if you're using them with a Distortion, try running the gain low on the fuzz. Otherwise, your order is good, with the Distortion after the fuzzes. Enjoy!

I have an Boss ME20 can I put this into a chain effectively? should it be first in?

@Pembury8 - Depends on what you're using it for. Multi-Effect units can be tricky to incorporate into a pedal chain, but I would still generally put it where an Overdrive/Distortion pedal would go. Compression, Wah, Pitch, EQ before it and Modulation, Delay, Reverb, etc. after it. Have fun!
