A six-month-old endangered Matschie's tree kangaroo joey begins to emerge from its mother's pouch for first time since it was born in December 2010 at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Woodland Park Zoo's Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program (TKCP) is saving tree kangaroos and their wild habitat in Papua New Guinea.

More about the joey and TKCP at the zoo blog: http://bit.ly/lxpEUB
