The CCTV camera on the front of my house captured this break-in at 7am shortly before sunrise on 19/11/2011. I had a note through the door from the Police and this is what I gave them. You can see the burglar talking to someone else on a bike at the end of the road around 0:20. I didn't cut any footage out of the middle so you will need to skip to 8:10 to see him leave.
Why don't you just close the window English people. Your country will have many problems with it's CCTV delusion. We have seen it in Nazi Germany, it has also been a surveillance society. I know English people, placing a camera infront of their house instead of locking the door (displaying it as Neighbour Watch Area). And I would not like to go through a city, where I don't know, who is watching/recording me and I don't know what will be done with this material.

@Hadegel You see CCTV footage of a burglary and immediately make a connection with Nazi Germnay? I got the camera because my girlfriends car kept getting broken into whilst parked on the road outside my house. I know at least one other has been broken into as well. Since I have had the camera it has not been broken into again (it is very visible).

@Hadegel The Police were very interested in the footage. It shows the exact time of the break in, that it was a male, his height, build, clothing, that he rides a bike, etc. Lots of information. It also shows what direction he headed off in so they can look at the council CCTV footage down the road.
