Alexander UNITED all the Greek city states (does the word city states ring a bell? if not plz read history ) for example Sparta was a greek city state, and so was Athens, Sparta was always at war with Athens, that does nt mean that they were not both Greek, same with Makedonia city state, ALL SPEAKING GREEK, BELEIVING SAME GODS, HAVING SAME COIN.
