True to form, EV videos are too brief and don't get into detail. I avoid EV videos in general. Ugh. Why bother?

does not help anyone to have the words on top of what you are doing. lots of distractions. slow down? filming was annoying.

I'm just taking a quilting course. My instructer told me to cut the binding 2 and a half inches so that it ends up with 1/4 inch seam allowance on either side and gives a 2 inch binding. Clear as mud? I'm finding it really complicated.

I would love to make a quilt but you are going too fast for me. You need to make a very simple quilt for beginners, you know all of this because you're experienced.

the videos for sewing the baby quilt is difficult to follow which is video 1, 2, 3, first you see her preparing the fat quarters, then cutting the borders, pinning them ready for sewing, from there you have lost me, how do you sew the borders on etc, etc,

This video is very helpful BUT it would have been better if she'd told how wide she cuts the binding strips.
