An Inpatient Tour at University of Colorado Hospital

If you're scheduled for an inpatient stay at University of Colorado Hospital, this video is made especially for you. the University of Colorado hospital ER hated it there was people in the floors waiting to be attended and the ones that had gone in were getting sent back because of lack of rooms there was about five people with iv in the waiting room. I was there for only 20 minutes because i was horrified by this so i decided to go to the Medical center of Aurora ER got there and was impressed on how quickly i was taken in to one of the rooms and staff was very friendly.

We're sorry about your experience at the UCH Emergency Department. On an average day our ED sees about twice as many patients as it's designed to. Even with our staff working at capacity it's hard to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. One of the many construction projects underway at our Anschutz location is a new inpatient tower that will also feature a larger ED. The new tower will shorten wait times for patients to see ED doctors and for inpatient admissions.
