  • Why not just cover the entire screen with ads. like they do on TVLand, and just allow a thin sliver of the video show, all scrunched up and compressed? I say they should run a 30 second ad before the video, then let the video play. without blocking portion of the screen with ads.

  • Adblock plus is a great Firefox ad blocker. You are correct in saying not to block adds for safe and helpful sites such as your own. Adblock plus allows you to selectively disable ad blocking on any site you wish. There are many sites out there though that are atrocious with ads and need to be blocked. Excessive adds will also eat up bandwidth!

  • there are some sites where i would enable privoxy , due to the fact that some adds come with loads of tracking cookies , even though these cookies won't hurt the system having too many does slow down my connection , but since i have the new avg , i haven't had to enable privoxy in a while since avg takes care of the cookies on detection , i don't mind some adds , but some are anoying with random sounds and flashing images ,

  • ads are ok unless is those ones that make a sound or popout at u. Is mainly why we have ad blockers in the 1st place. with all that spam. loL

  • is is all about money in the online market hey and if oyu want something free do not block add
