in the early 80s driving my brand-new Jeep I ferried my three children across Spain and down to the Algarve. This played constantly, thank you so much for reminding me. Are there any other London mobile/club DJs out there from this period ? David (Kingie) King. mobile from 1960 to 1982. Olive tree Croydon, early 60s. DeVere Club London.Alibi Club London . various retro rock 'n' roll and soul nights London till 1984.
One of four unbelievable tracks from the "Turn on the Tap" E.P from circa 1979. Richard Tee, Bob James, Wilbert Longmire & Mongo Santamaria, thanks for the music.

Hearing this album was my introduction to Jazz. I was at a friend of a friend's house and he put this on his awesome $10,000 stereo system and it blew me away. I made him play it so many times he made me a tape of the album which I wore out. From there, I found George Benson, then Earl Klugh and Bob James and the rest is history. I might have discovered Jazz later, but this hit me right between the eyes and changed me forever. Thanks Richard. RIP
