Daft Mania - Augmented Reality game

A short in-game trailer/teaser for the Augmented Reality game 'DaftMania' made for a contest called 'Are You Better Than Microsoft?' ('Ben Jij Beter Dan Microsoft? in Dutch).

Contest hold by TamTam (www.tamtam.nl) and our project is in the finals. Finals are hold on the 10th of july.

Gameplay:
Using Augmented Reality little boxes are shown on 5 markers, read by the webcam. When moving over these boxes, a function is triggered.

Drops are falling out of the sky and fall on the 5 different markers. When the function of the markers is triggered, the app checks if you 'tap' / 'cover' the marker of where the drop is. If you do, you gain points.

When you gain points, the 'note streak' is raised by one. It's set back to 0 if you miss a drop.
If you got a 'streak' of 5, the 'multiplier' is raised by one and an audience-sound-sample is played. This to enlarge the experience and joy. At the end of the song your score is multiplied by the number of 'multiplier' and the crowd is going 'wild and loud' !

Print the pads and start drumming! The better you get the more points you gain, eventually you'll be able to upload your screen-recording to YouTube yourself! Just like we did.
