  • i really like your vidoes your quite obviously a great drummer :)

trying to teach myself to be able to drags/rolls any tips on how i can do this?

  • @DoubleBassHero101 Thanks, I appreciate your checking my videos. Practice on a pad with a metronome, nothing new there!. Play relaxed, pay attention to your grip and stick height of the strokes, let the law of physics do the work, Google: Moeller technique, Jo Jo Mayer, Dom Famularo, Vic Firth, Drummersworld, for videos on hand technique, there's a wealth of material out there.

  • this is absolutey EPIC! I was actually gona request this song to you :)

  • @MatiasBeast Thanks for watching.

  • Great cover, as usual! Thanks for sharing!

  • @youtubuzr Thanks.

  • @nielsemilbechnaumann There is nothing wrong with this pattern, it goes with song and is pretty much the same one that Chad uses. What's wrong with it? If you want to see how well I play funk, then check out my rendition of Eastside, you can find it on my channel page. BTW: I'm not in the business of trying "to make you love it" with my videos. I covers these songs because I like playing drums to them.

  • @ThePotenzaz You are mistaken, the part on the record that Chad plays is a 16th note roll on the snare for 1 measure that builds in dynamics from pianissimo to forte and that's what I'm playing.

  • @rhythmantic Thanks i appreciate the help :D

I'm starting to get it now, just need to up the volume a bit but i'll get it.

Can you do a cover of Tell Me Baby- Red Hot Chili Peppers? It's a top song :)

  • @pippogiu1 Thanks for your well informed comment. I think it's good to put something of one's own expression in the cover if it doesn't take away from the song. Keep drumming!

  • There is very good use of the double pedal in the fourth minute, and then, the song was very well done respecting the score.

  • @gaetan0702 Perhaps after I get through a list of 200 + more songs to cover.
