@nielsemilbechnaumann There is nothing wrong with this pattern, it goes with song and is pretty much the same one that Chad uses. What's wrong with it? I covers these songs because I like playing drums to them.

@ThePotenzaz You are mistaken, the part on the record that Chad plays is a 16th note roll on the snare for 1 measure that builds in dynamics from pianissimo to forte and that's what I'm playing.

@DoubleBassHero101 Thanks, I appreciate your checking my videos. Practice on a pad with a metronome, nothing new there!. Play relaxed, pay attention to your grip and stick height of the strokes, let the law of physics do the work, Google: Moeller technique, Jo Jo Mayer, Dom Famularo, Vic Firth, Drummersworld, for videos on hand technique, there's a wealth of material out there.
