@PascalGameDev personally, i really appreciate people like you making sites only for delphi, showing what a greate tool it is. i know how hard it is to maintain a site, and i thank you for that very much.
The Delphi community need more ppl like you to make "How to" videos to "raise" the percentage of Delphi videos in youtube and other video sites.
i wish i knew how to do that well...
btw, i already have your site in my Firefox bookmarks, especially because i want to make a game "some day"... :)

Delphi is an AMAZING tool, but the sad thing is that Embracadero, and all it's supplyers/resellers are killing it with their lack of marketing.
not many people in the world even know it exsits, or think it's an "old" tool.
people don't know about Delphi because there is no marketing anywhere.
THEY are killing this GREATE tool - Delphi :(

@eitan71 Do a search for "FireMonkey" and you'll see what they are doing about this.

@PascalGameDev thank you for your post, from one of the links i found i got an answer to somthing i was looking for a long time :)
as for FireMonkey, you just proved exactly my point.
Delphi is an AMAZING tool!
and the video i found just proved that delphi is amazing, but unfortunatly, without ANY comercials from embracadero, it WILL dissapear...
why most developers don't know much about Delphi?
because there is no marketing for it, "only" a GREATE tool...

@eitan71 Delphi is a great tool. I enjoy reposting videos and posting news about it at the community website I run, PascalGameDevelopment (dawt) com. This new version was a huge step for Delphi to get back into the tool industry like it was before. Game developers are excited about the new platforms and the new Starter Editions. I just hope that they will bring the two together someday. :)
