I think playcable is already off the air and before the sega channel was already lunch. But now the sega channel is already off the air back in 1998. Because of the new consoles like the sega saturn and Playstation. What next the nintendo channel for the wii

Pix! PIX! PIX!!! Boy! I remember racing home from school on Long Island to try to call in for PIX. At the time, all we had was Atari (2600). All the kids in my family lusted after Intellivision. WPIX was the closest we every got. Ah..memories...

I still have the old box, it's like the same size as the intellivoice unit, you plug it into the cartridge slot the same way, it hooked into the back of the cable box, and presented you with a menu screen of games which played "the entertainer" as background music. It would take a couple of minutes (always seemed like forever) to download the info and the games were set. unfortunately, I don't know the tech of it. I should probably crack open the box and find out.

you basicaly connect the playcable adapter into the cable line and then when the game is selected the adapter picksup code from the signal grabs it off the line and then the console reads it
