  • I wonder why alot of the riders are hanging there leg out before turning in these days

  • You've got it, G-forces when these guys are braking like they do as late as they do can't be underrated! It's happened violently to me once in 1999 when I was doing massive speeds on my TL1000R around a motorway corner and suddenly saw the plod. I actually hurt my leg when hitting the fuel tank due to the deceleration forces. Proper tank slapper too as I was on soft Supermoto rain tyres:-)

  • I don't really know whether u deserve to have a comment on here at all. Whilst I decide I'll give u a chance to reply to this: Do you know who Jeremy McWilliams is?

  • thanks for that ,pure class ! liked the double take from fabrizio about 6.40 ,as if to say ,jeez you still there old man .jezza still has it . thats some lap time for a stock bike on what looked like stock gearing

  • Thanks!

  • lol it is Orion

  • @JPThomp7 lower centre of gravity

  • @JPThomp7 its not for show,it helps for balance under breaking and sort of helps braking too! =)

  • @raptorama That really isn't why Rossi and the other riders stick their leg out. Ofcourse it might have happend to you if you were unprepared, relaxing your legs and had to brake hard and unexpectedly... or what ever, but if you brake as hard as you can, barely keeping the bike on two wheels, you will be able to keep your legs from harms way without really having to fight the force you're exposed to. The reason is either a weight transfer to keep the bike steady or it simply feels better.

  • @joecash2010 haha, you just fucked yourself

  • @rubensnaves I have 7 all consecutives laps in jerez in mid 1.51's with a stock yamaha r6r 09, and using Dunlop ntec 211 compose 7704. thats why I said it is disgraceful for a couple of riders like them the times they were doing per lap thats it.

  • @JPThomp7 , I think its to help initiate weight transfer when entering the corner. It seems to inspire extra confidence when pushing the limit.

  • you really think 1'52 on a stock bike with stock tires is something disgracefull? dude.... wake up!
