Driked for 10 years, got worse trough the years, last 5 years ranged from 12 to 16 beers every day on empty stomach. Been sober now about 1½ months. But ive never fellt sicker in my life. But i will never go back on the sauce. The fight continues.

Actually, it's hard to say. Many alcoholics never get the DT's during withdrawal despite drinking insane amounts...I think it's almost a genetic thing given its relative infrequence. Unless you're slamming back liters of hard liquor constantly, you'll be okay.
