@RemyLouise technically never to be referred to as princess though. or princess william duchess of cambridge. but never princess kate or princess catherine when wills is prince of wales then it will be catherine princess of wales. in any other country she would be princess catherine just for marrying a prince.

@lavishdivine You are right, although she IS technically a Princess, as with all royal who marry into the royal family. She does not hold the title "H.R.H Princess Catharine," but she does hold the title "H.R.H Princess William." It's the same with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (Princess Charles) and Sophie, Countess of Wessex (Princess Edward). These titles aren't always used, since a Duchess is considered higher than a Princess.

not a princess, you have to be made a princess in the uk you INHERIT your title from your dad in the uk not husband UNLESS your husband is given a title on the wedding day hence duke of cambridge, duchess of cambridge, he wasn't made a prince of somewhere there for she is not a princess, (william is a prince as he inherited it from his father)
